Sesame Green Beans & Kale
Spiced up Chlorophyll
Ingredient List (Serves 2)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 shallots, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 cups green beans, trimmed and sliced into 1" pieces
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 bunch kale, stemmed and roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- Roasted sesame seeds and freshly ground pepper for garnish
- TTNJ Carrot Hot Sauce
Instructions
- Gather the ingredients.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shallots and sauté until tender. Add garlic, stirring constantly for about 3 minutes.
- Add green beans and salt and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Deglaze pan with white wine cooking green beans until almost tender.
- Add the kale and continuing cooking until kale has wilted, 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the lemon juice, sesame oil and walnuts. Toss to coat and serve immediately.

Garnish with roasted sesame seeds, freshly ground pepper and TTNJ Carrot Hot Sauce. Enjoy!
